The Antidote
For women ready to break free from the pathologization of our bodies, aging, and the patriarchal paradigms of beauty
A Grassroots Movement by Dr. Stacy Dicker, Kathleen Nora Bower & Vive Oldham
“Tell the image makers and magazine sellers and the plastic surgeons that you are not afraid. That what you fear the most is the death of imagination and originality and metaphor and passion. Then be bold and LOVE YOUR BODY. STOP FIXING IT. It was never broken."
~ Dr. Marion Woodman
What if your struggle with your relationship to food, aging and beauty is all constructed?
What if the problem is not you? Not your body.
What if the issue at hand - perfectionism + thinness + discipline + purity + control, all bundled together and handed to you - is virtue, as a cage, intentionally constructed to benefit big business?
Because that’s the truth of it.
A woman’s relationship to herself and her body have been carefully constructed by marketing to ensure we self-monitor, through restriction, control and self judgement… and it worked, didn’t it?
Because we all are still ‘managing’ ourselves.
We are not going to teach you to manage better.
We’re going to re-imagine and re-create reality, together.
In these three classes you’ll be reclaiming your psychic and creative energy, liberating yourself from a punitive gaze, and be an active participant in collaborative repair.
To counter a cultural lens that controls women's bodies, behaviour and beliefs we need to build capacity for holding multiple truths.
Yes, we have to live in the world as it is. Yes, we all live with the impact of that every day. And Yes, we can radically re-organise how we feel about our body.
We’re taught perfectionism instead of trust, control instead of intuition.
This is a call to remake our world view, together.
Rebel. Reclaim. Reweave.

Stacy Dicker, Ph.D.
Clinical Depth PsychologistStacy is a clinical psychologist whose work bridges depth psychology, trauma healing, contemplative practice, and ancestral repair.
With over twenty years in private practice, she has long been devoted to understanding the hidden patterns that shape human suffering and transformation. She has specialized in working with disordered eating and taught college-level psychology courses, including eating disorders, for nearly ten years.
Her path has been deeply influenced by the work of C. G. Jung, intergenerational trauma healing, and the integration of ancient wisdom traditions with contemporary psychological understanding.
Grounded in decades of therapeutic work and personal contemplative practice, she brings warmth, grounded hope, deep compassion, a tender heart, and a love of poetry. She feels deeply honored and continually touched by the ways healing and reconnection can emerge organically through courageous vulnerability and authentic human connection, especially in community.

Vive Oldham is a Somatic Practitioner, MotherCircle Facilitator, Artist, Mum, Auntie and Pleasure Activist.
Her practice is guided by the work of Marian Dunlea’s BodyDreaming in the Treatment of Developmental Trauma: An Embodied Therapeutic Approach which centres the organic intelligence of the body. Through her training and lived experience she helps women grow the capacity to stay present to both friction and pleasure. She orients to the idea that pleasure isn’t an escape from difficulty, but a resource that allows us to meet activation, thresholds, and change with groundedness and creativity.
She is the creator of Tiny Rituals, a body-led practice that aligns with the emerging science of neuroaesthetics and the art of tending the Soul, inspired by the work of Thomas Moore. Through small, sensory, creative acts, these rituals help women reconnect with what brings them to life, gently revealing their unique gifts - what mythologist Michael Meade calls our genius.
Her work blends structure and tenderness to support capacity building, creative expression, and meaningful, embodied change.

And for the mothers, aunties, sisters and friends who care for them.
The We Are Enough Podcast
From Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estés' Women Who Run With Wolves, we trace the story of an orphan whose handmade red shoes - her own resourcefulness, her own creative impulse - get burned by the old woman who takes her in. What happens to the young girl once that connection to herself is gone? obsession, susceptibility, a rebellion that never finds its legs…
This episode is for you if perfectionism, disordered eating, or a never-ending exhaustion from managing your life feels familiar.
“Without even realising it, an inordinate amount of energy goes towards keeping our instinctual urges in check while ignoring our emotional repertoire.” ~ Dr. Paula Reeves
Here’s what we're not doing
We're not handing you a protocol.
If there were a simple how-to, none of us would have suffered as much as we have.
We're not pathologizing anything you've lived.
This is not a diagnosis.
It's a story you're inside of, and there's rebel energy inside the wound.
